The Supervised Visitation Consultation & Intake is the first step in establishing supervised visitation services. This comprehensive meeting allows us to gather important background information, review court orders (if applicable), discuss safety concerns, clarify expectations, and determine whether our services are an appropriate fit for your family's needs.

During the intake, we will:

• Review the family's history and current circumstances.

• Discuss the purpose and goals of supervised visitation.

• Review any court orders, custody agreements, or legal documentation.

• Explain visitation policies, procedures, and expectations for all participants.

• Identify any safety concerns or special accommodations.

• Complete required intake paperwork and service agreements.

• Answer questions regarding scheduling, fees, documentation, and communication.

This consultation helps ensure that all parties understand the process before supervised visits begin and allows for the development of a structured plan that prioritizes the safety, well-being, and best interests of the child.

Participation in an intake consultation does not guarantee acceptance into supervised visitation services.

Supervised visitation provides a safe, neutral, and structured environment for children to spend time with a parent or other approved family member when supervision has been requested, recommended, or ordered. During each visit, a trained supervisor remains present to observe the interaction, ensure compliance with established guidelines, and intervene only when necessary to maintain safety or address concerns. Supervisors remain neutral and do not take sides or participate in parenting decisions unless immediate safety requires intervention.

Supervised Exchange Services provide a safe, neutral, and structured way for parents to transfer a child for court-ordered or agreed-upon parenting time without requiring direct contact between the adults. The focus of this service is to reduce conflict, protect the child's emotional well-being, and help ensure exchanges occur safely and smoothly.

During a supervised exchange, the supervisor coordinates the arrival and departure of each parent so they do not have to interact with one another. The child is safely transitioned from one parent to the other while the supervisor oversees the exchange, helps maintain a calm environment, and documents any significant observations related to the exchange itself.
